The Holy Apostolic Throne of Antioch and All the East and the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in Australia leads the Saint Osthathiose Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Wollongong. This is a congregation established in March 2009 under the able leadership of H.B Baselious Thomas 1, Catholicose of India and the illustrious guidance of Very Rev Fr George Vayaliparambil, vicar of St Mary’s Jacobite Syrian orthodox Church, Sydney and by a bunch of believers who migrated from Kerala, Southern India.Our parish is built upon the devotion and living faith of all its members, who actively partake in the worship and every other spiritual activity of the church.
